The Guiyang government located in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, has released its plan to launch 50 projects in May, involving investments totaling 14.4 billion yuan.

A fact-finding team visited the local manufacturing association of the Longquanyi district of Chengdu city – located in Southwest China's Sichuan province – on April 12.
Guiyang city and the nearby Guian New Area in the first quarter recorded 39.13 billion yuan ($6.13 billion) of investment funds in place.
From January to March, Guian New Area registered funds of 8.3 billion yuan ($1.3 billion yuan) in place for all kinds of projects, with 3.35 billion yuan in place for industrial projects.
