Guiyang Hisense Electronics Co is racing toward its annual production target of 10 billion yuan ($1.4 billion), with its factory lines running at full capacity. The company can roll off 17,000 television sets in just 24 hours, reflecting the efficiency of its large-scale manufacturing operations.
According to company executives, 2025 marks the fifth year of Guiyang Hisense's overseas market expansion, with cumulative exports expected to reach 2.61 million TV sets. The company first entered the Japanese market in 2021, exporting 310,000 units that year. Since then, its international footprint has continued to grow – a trend executives say reflects both strong market recognition and rising brand influence.
The Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone has worked closely with Guiyang Hisense on targeted investment promotion, bringing in the first group of supporting enterprises from Qingdao. By positioning electronic information manufacturing as a pillar industry and addressing bottlenecks across the industrial and supply chains, the zone has strengthened Guiyang Hisense's role as a leader of the chain and fostered a growing electronics manufacturing cluster anchored in Guiyang.
Founded in 1997, Guiyang Hisense has gradually built a robust local industrial ecosystem. To date, the company has attracted 15 supporting enterprises, forming a highly efficient "30-minute supply chain circle". Local sourcing rates have risen from 30 percent in the early years to 83 percent today, while delivery cycles for key materials have been shortened from one week to just two hours.
