A truck laden with technological products departed from the Guizhou International Cargo Consolidation and Deconsolidation Center in Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ) on Nov 10, marking a milestone for the center, which had been operational for over 40 days. During this period, the import and export value of bonded business has surpassed 100 million yuan ($14.08 million).

The enterprise exporting the technological products is a newcomer to export operations, making this its first foray into international trade. As a result, the company faced several challenges, including limited foreign trade experience and small export orders.

Upon learning of the company's export challenges, Guiyang FTZ, in collaboration with Zhucheng Customs, Guiyang FTZ Bureau of Industry Development, Guiyang FTZ Bonded Business and Port Service Center, and Guizhou International Cargo Consolidation and Deconsolidation Center, reached out to provide hands-on guidance for handling the necessary procedures.

They also facilitated the consolidation of the company's goods with those from other enterprises for outbound transport through the Guizhou International Cargo Consolidation and Deconsolidation Center.

Since the center commenced operations on Sept 28, over 20 enterprises have utilized its services to ship more than 20 types of Guizhou-produced products globally, including fresh fruits and vegetables, home appliances, microchips, and tires.

The center, supported by six preferential measures introduced by Zhucheng Customs, has also completed its first consolidation and outbound shipment of both bonded and non-bonded goods.
