Guizhou Hankaisi Intelligent Technology Co (Pix Moving), based in Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) in Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently delivered 10 RoboBuses to the Yiwu Global Digital Trade Center, where they have already begun operating.
The launch signifies a deep integration of Guizhou's independently developed L4-level autonomous driving technology with Yiwu's digital trade ecosystem, offering an innovative model that combines "technology + scenario" for smart trade parks across China.
RoboBus is an unmanned mobile space developed by Pix Moving, equipped with L4-level autonomous driving capabilities that allow for precise shuttle services in urban areas, scenic zones, and industrial parks. At the Yiwu center, the vehicles will shuttle between exhibition halls, office areas, commercial streets, and logistics hubs, providing efficient and intelligent transportation for merchants, buyers, and visitors.
Unlike traditional vehicles, RoboBus features a front-and-back symmetrical structure that enables modular assembly and flexible deployment, offering high scalability and intelligence. Built on the company's AI-native chassis and autonomous driving system, it is capable of fully autonomous operation. With LiDAR, millimeter-wave radar, and multiple cameras, RoboBus achieves 360-degree perception, recognizing pedestrians, traffic lights, and obstacles to plan safe driving routes.
Once operational, each RoboBus will serve as a mobile data node, collecting real-time traffic and pedestrian information to enhance the park's digital twin system. This will enable the continuous optimization and management of traffic, transforming the trade center's transportation network into a truly "smart mobility ecosystem".
Founded in 2017, Pix Moving has grown into a leading intelligent mobility innovator with a strong "hardware + software" integration advantage. Its core products – RoboBus, RoboShop, Beastie, and RoboSweep – have earned over 200 patents across China, the US and Europe, and the company has been recognized as a "Global Technology Pioneer" by the World Economic Forum.
