Guizhou issues 650 investment projects

Guizhou province in Southwest China plans to bring in 650 domestic investment projects worth 387.83 billion yuan ($57.36 billion). These projects include 306 involving new industrialization, 110 involving new urbanization, 82 involving agricultural modernization, and 107 involving tourism, according to the Guizhou Provincial Bureau of Investment Promotion.

The document issued by the State Council in January has proposed that Guizhou build 11 key bases for the supply of green agricultural products, research and production of new energy power cells and related materials, guaranteeing computing power, resource finishing and deep processing, comprehensive energy, demonstration of entrepreneurship incubation, utilization of industrial resources, Sichuan-Yunnan-Guizhou tourism, key industrial components, materials and equipment backup, white spirit manufacturing, and cultural industry demonstration.

In addition, Guizhou has been urged to develop its digital economy, culture and tourism, new energy vehicle supporting facilities, special food, herbs, and mining.
